PANOLUX PROGRAMMING GUIDE:
1. Camera & Module must be turned off. Attach Panolux onto " hot shoe " mount on top of camera 2. Turn Camera on. Turn Panolux on. 3. Set Camera to "A " position on shutter speed selector knob. 4. Choose either Reflected or Incident setting on Panolux 5.Key in Aperture selection by depressing white button located under "K" symbol. 6. Key in Film Speed by depressing white button located under I SO symbol. ** In either K or ISO programming, 1/2 stop increments are possible. 7. Set Aperture on lens, at front of camera. 8. Panolux will automatically begin to meter. 9, For Reflected readings, Panolux will automatically choose the correct shutter rotation speed. 10. For Incident readings, where the Panolux will either slow down or speed up shutter rotation, you may choose to bring camera with module on top to the appx. location to be photographed. Lock in that reading by pressing the " MEM " button on the module after the reading is taken. Return to the location from which you wish to take the photo. The Panolux will remember the memorized reading. After the shot, the Panolux will return to its normal setting. 11. For Vertical shots, after the reading is taken, depress the " INV " button on the back of the Panolux. This will Speed up rotation of the drum during the first 1/2 of the exposure & slow it down during the second half.
***NOTE: When using the Panolux, the LED light on the back of the module must be the same as on the camera( Green or Red). If the LED on the camera is not the same as on the Panolux, turn the shutter speed motor dial until the corresponding color appears on the camera. |
