Perhaps
one of the most cavernous bags in the Billingham line,
the Photo Packington Serves as a great photo
gear bag, (Photo as well as Video) laptop/briefcase,
and travel bag, all in one. First conceived in the
70's, this bag has certainly stood the test of time,
and is still one of the more popular bags in the line.
Its
extra tall height will accommodate a D-SLR with a
fairly long zoom lens attached to be placed " lens
down " into the bag, ready for quick access. The main
compartment zips closed for protection and security.
In addition, this is an ideal multi-system bag, able
to carry two (2) camera bodies, two to three extra
lenses, flash, cables, connectors, memory device,
etc. The side pockets are permanently attached to
the Packington, and are secured via robust
color coordinated snaps. These side pockets are ideal
for mP3 players, a small bottle of water, or additional
photo/travel gear.
The
two (2) front pockets are fashioned from a single
piece of material, sewn vertically, (thus making the
two pockets) to provide enough room to fit an extra
large paperback, or additional photo gear. These front
pockets are closed by heavy-duty zip pulls, which
insures added security. Leather 'finger tabs 'on either
side of the front pockets allow for quick zipping
The
top protective rain flap cover covers the front
pockets and secures to the front of the bag with Billingham's
Famous Quick Release System (QRS). Brass feet
and leather-covered corners help protect the bag from
scuffs and bruises.
