Hadley Series Bags

The original Billingham camera case, the Hadley series continues to be one of the most popular series in the Billingham line. While certainly not looking like what one would think a " typical " camera bag should look like, the Hadley line, in either Small Hadley, Hadley Pro, or Large Hadley can be configured to accommodate a wide array of photo gear and accessories. The Hadley series is a neat and trim line of bags, fits close to the hip, and often looks more like a portfolio/messenger bag than a traditional " steal-me " camera bag.

All Bags in the Hadley series share the same design and features except where noted.

Inside the Hadley System:

• A simple but valuable feature is the removable insert, which snaps securely into the interior of the bag. This feature allows the user to, if desired, maintain two or more different camera systems, for example, system # 1 being a D-SLR outfit, complete with auxiliary lenses and flash. System # 2 might be a camcorder out fit. Rather than having to physically " swap out " outfits all the time, the user can simply keep whichever outfit he/she is not using at the time in an already packed and configured second insert, dividers and partitions in place and ready to go at a moments notice.
• The ample front pockets are easily accessible and can carry a wide array of accessories, memory cards, cords, connectors, storage device, notepads, etc...These front pockets are secured with robust, color coordinated snaps.
• The top protective rain flap completely covers both the interior of the bag as well as the front bellows pockets and is secured to the bag via the famous Billingham Quick Release System. In addition, the front leather straps are fully adjustable, allowing for expansion when carrying bulkier gear. The carry Strap is securely affixed to the sides of the bag with strong nylon thread.

Able to carry a good days' shoot worth of gear, the Billingham small Hadley, much like the L-2 is an ideal " kit " bag and will accommodate small bodied D-SLR cameras, rangefinder outfits, point and shoot cameras, as well as compact camcorders. Two ( 2 ) large Vertical dividers and two ( 2 ) partition dividers are included with the Small Hadley.

The most popular of the Hadley Series, the Billingham Hadley Pro is a great expanded-system bag, and will accommodate a full bodied D-SLR as well as two ( 2 ) medium sized zoom lenses, a standard 50mm lens affixed to the camera body, as well as an auxiliary flash. In most cases, the camera with a short zoom lens attached can easily fit into the Hadley Pro, and still fit the afore mentioned gear. Two ( 2 ) large vertical dividers and two ( 2 ) partition dividers are included with the Hadley Pro.

The Hadley Pro offers these additional features not available on the Small or Large Hadley:

• "Top carry handle (carbon fiber reinforced ) to carry briefcase fashion.
• Zippered rear pocket. Full height and length---great for carrying notebook, passport, magazines, etc.
• Accepts Avea 3 side pockets, for expanded carrying capacity.

The Billingham Large Hadley, the largest in the Hadley Series, will accommodate a fairly long zoom lens affixed to the camera body. By configuring the various dividers and partitions, the camera can be placed " lens-down " with the camera back facing upright, which allows for super quick access to the camera. The Large Hadley can also fit a small laptop computer.
